How We Protect Your Documents
We appreciate that our members trust us with
their important papers and data, and take
every step to ensure that their information
is safe, secure and protected. To do so,
we employ the latest technology and multiple
layers of security to help prevent unauthorized
access to the member information.
Signing on to your DuraFile account requires
that you enter 4 levels of security information.
Two member-defined passwords, a random member-defined
data field and a typed word match make unauthorized
access exceptionally difficult. These four
security levels provide significantly higher
levels of security and protection than most
banks and online retail websites, which primarily
employ only user name and password entries.
In addition to the login protections, all
documents and data are encrypted using 128
bit protocols and multiple-key encryption
technology. The documents and data are stored
on separate servers from the website to provide
further restriction of access.
